It's About Time! TVOTR Review

TV On The Radio's Return To Cookie Mountain

I finally finished listening to TV On The Radio's major album debut, Return To Cookie Mountain. Despite all the leaks on the Internet, I stopped myself from listening to any of it besides two of the tracks until I buy the album when it gets released in the US. So it was definitely worth the wait! Some of the tracks are a bit random if you know what I mean, but hey bring on the randomness, I love random. Overall, it's fine work from the guys and very well-produced. I still love "Staring At The Sun" and "Dreams", but this album beats their debut Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes. I'm all hyped up for their headlining show in Sacramento at The Library later this month. If you like their album and music, you must see them live because their sound is different live, but they sound so good. Highlights off the album are "Wolf Like Me", "Blues From Down Here", "Tonight", and everything else on the album including the random tracks.
