Film Review

Zach Braff & Jacinda Barrett in The Last Kiss

I finally saw The Last Kiss yesterday and I don't appreciate being carded. I was not able to make it to a pre-screening because it was too far for my to drive that night. Basically, I love Zach Braff. Many of us do. It was a great film, but some of the storylines were unnecessary and should have been cut out. I did not like Rachel Bilson in the film because her character was annoying and immature. I actually am not a fan of Rachel's at all, but that fact really did not affect my review on her character in the film. Zach Braff was hilarious in some parts. It was a serious love story, and everyone in the theater did not laugh in some of the scenes except for my friend and I. Maybe we're weird, I don't know, but it really was funny if you look at it in a different way.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

In the scene where Braff and Jacinda's character were fighting was hilarious to me. She calls him a "slut" then points a huge knife at him, which is usually scary of course, but Braff's expression was funny. There was also way too many sex scenes in the film, which I find pointless to the storyline. It all revolves around his pointless friend too.

The Last Kiss is a great film overall and I do recommend it, but just don't take your kiddies along. It is well worth watching.
