America Welcomes Borat! (Film Review)

Borat

I have never seen a room full of people laugh so hard in my life! I don't even recall laughing so much in one film. It is disgusting, yet random. I applaud Sacha Baron Cohen for having the ability to make us laugh A LOT. It's a mix of fiction and non-fiction. If you hadn't known already, Borat comes from Kazakhstan and heads to America to film his travels there. There were times where I felt he was being too racist, but when I look at it in a different point of view that I realize maybe he's not being racist, but just making us realize the many stereotypes that are out there that we are afraid to comment on or acknowledge in public. Although, his comments on Jews were funny, but it was definitely wrong and cruel! Everyone needs a good laugh though as long as he isn't truly hurting anybody. He actually makes really good points in the film like what he says about President Bush. Possibly the funniest scene was the scene between Borat and Azamat Bagatov (Ken Davitian). And having Pamela Anderson in the film definitely adds to the craziness of the film. The film lasts for 82 minutes, but it is well worth watching. People waited hours to see this film so why wouldn't it be worth it?

When it comes out in theaters on NOVEMBER 3RD, don't miss out on what's the funniest film of the year. And yes, Borat is so much better than Jean Girrard.
