Imogen Heap's Speak For Yourself (2005)
Imogen Heap is one half of Frou Frou, who provided one of the tracks to Garden State. This is Heap's solo album without producer Guy Sigsworth. It's still Frou Frou, but it's toned down. She's a one woman band. She's been compared to Annie with her smooth pop multi-layered vocals. "Hide and Seek" is the most unique track off the album. It's just Heap and her layered vocals distorted electronically with pretty much no other instruments. Other highlights include "Goodnight and Go" and "The Walk".
She will be playing on the first of the two days of the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA on April 29th. (Coachella)
