(+44) postpone US tour

Band shelve dates after Travis Barker breaks arm

(+44) have been forced to cancel the first leg of their forthcoming North American tour after drummer Travis Barker broke his arm.

The band were due to kick off their jaunt in San Diego this Friday (October 13), but the band have postponed several dates until December.

The ex-Blink-182 drummer had vowed to carry on with the tour when he first broke his arm last week.

But it was later decided that he was unable to perform and the tour will now kick off at Jannus Landing in Tampa on November 8, reports MTV.COM, with the rescheduled dates set for the following month.

A statement from the band said: "The first leg of (+44)'s fall tour will be rescheduled due to an arm injury suffered by Barker. All rescheduled shows will take place in December; exact dates to be announced soon.

"We can't wait to get out on the road and show everyone what we've been up to for the past year and a half."

(+44)'s debut album is due to be released on November 13.
