Emily Haines

So Justin Timberlake's "bringing sexy back", but Emily Haines has always been "so succexy". Haines' talents have been displayed and worked in Broken Social Scene, Metric, and now finally in her latest solo album debuting on Last Gang Records on September 12, 2006 (Canada) and September 26, 2006 (US). The album is titled "Knives Don't Have Your Back" and is a lot mellow compared to what you would find in her work with Metric. "The album is intimate and mellow, featuring piano-driven tracks with string and horn arrangements", and so far what I hear from her track "Doctor Blind", I like. The track is eerie, yet stunning beautiful at the same time.
