British socialite AMANDA DE CADENET and THE STROKES guitarist NICK VALENSI are celebrating after becoming parents to twins. Former TV presenter De Cadenet, 34, gave birth to a boy and a girl in a Los Angeles private hospital. Both babies weighed six pounds (2.72 kilograms), although their son spent his first day in intensive care. De Cadenet and New Yorker Valensi married earlier this year (06).
