Jarvis Cocker Sets First U.S. Shows
Jarvis Cocker is headed to North America for his first shows here in over 7 years. The gigs will coincide with the former Pulp frontman's debut solo album being released in the U.S. on April 3rd via Rough Trade / World's Fair. The dates include an appearance at the Coachella festival in Indio, California on the first night of the three day event. Jarvis' backing band (live and in the studio) includes We Love Life-era Pulp guitarist Richard Hawley. Some recent live shows have included special apperances by Pulp bassist Steve Mackey and keyboardist Candida Doyle. Jarvis also sings on one track of the new Air album Pocket Symphony. Before heading to our shores, Cocker will play a few UK shows in February.
