To Of Montreal: I'm Sorry For Almost Running Away With Your Monkey

They may hate me, but I still love them.

So one of the members thought I was trying to steal their monkey, gave me the death stare, and was about to beat me down. Well, it's not like they did us a favor like we thought they would. Besides that problem, Of Montreal was incredible live and so fun to watch. Better than I expected, although I knew they were going to be great. And there was a pretty good crowd too. I was praying that they would play "Pancakes for One", but I knew I was just getting my hopes up. They played mostly tracks from their latest album Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?, but also performed a few songs from The Sunlandic Twins as well as a Bowie cover. What was the title of the song? I don't know. Kevin Barnes went through three different costume changes. I have to say the ladder idea was brilliant. I absolutely love their music and live performances, but I don't know anything about them as people really. You have to see Of Montreal live at least once in your lifetime.
